भण्डसैन्य वधोध्युक्त शक्थिविक्रम हर्षिता (72)
Bhandasainya vadhodhyukta Shakthi Vikrama harshita (72)
Meaning:
When Her army, the Shakti-sena destroyed the army of Bhandasura, Devi Lalithambika was extremely delighted.
Interpretation:
The word Harshita means: full of happiness. The name is traditionally associated with pureness of heart and soul, and honesty.

The Vaag Devis are trying to explain her how delighted and relieved Devi was feeling when her Shaki Sena registered victories over generals of Bhanda Saina.
The Battle with Bhandasura

After the fall of his two beloved bothers, Vishukra and Vishanga, Bhandasura sent seven more Senapatis to the battlefield. These Senapatis were all born to Rakshasi Keekasa and were named Balaka, Suchi Mukha, Phalamukha, Vikarna, Vikatanana, Karalayu and Karataka. The valiant Shakti Sena Devis defeated and killed all of them.

Sri Lalitha Devi then evoked the Nitya Shaktis to combat the army of Bhanda. Shyama Shakti provoked Vishukra; Nakuli Devi fought with Vishu, Maha Maya Kunti with Peshu, Bhauravi with Madada, Laghu Shyama with Kushura, Swapnesi with Mangala, and so on. The victories of the Nitya Shaktis delighted Devi.
Author's Notes:
It should be understood here that Devi Lalitha is the Supreme power. She is above everything and beyond timee span. She cannot be brought under such transient feelings such as good, bad, happy, sad, delight, dejection etc.

But at the same time Devi is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient etc. She is present in every living organism, including Devas etc. The delight of the Devi mentioned here, therefore, should be understood as the delight of the Devas for whose sake Devi is waging the war against Bhandasura.
